orientation week day 2 recap!
- today we visited one of the NY google offices & it was genuinely the most insane thing ive ever seen like i don’t even have the words
- we also did 2 other company site visits, one of which was on like the 48th floor and had the most insaneee view of the city & i’m genuinely manifesting working there just for that view
- when we got back one of my roommates & i locked in so hard & did so much outreach & networking
- also we get catered breakfast & lunch this whole week & today since we went to 2 tech companies they fed us SO good that i didn’t even need to make dinner so later at night i decided to get a quick slice of pizza but literally got scammed & was too scared to go back 😭
- then i saw theyre taking satc off netflix at the end of this month LIKE PLS DONT DO THIS TO ME NETFLIX THIS IS MY SATC SUMMER
- omg also some people from my cohort saw jlo at the regal cinema thats around the corner from our nyu housing for some premiere which is crazy
i met this guy online, we talked a lot, we laughed, and he sang this song for me. this is how u make me fall in love so easily, & will never forget this day 🥺🫂🫶🏻

spending day 7 of #maIIonspiritweek by #reminiscing on summer 2023 during my camp counselor era when I had an hour each day on aux for the camp radio station and my friends and I would sit in the radio room and gossip and then close our set with this song every day…good times take me back

my dad would always play this song when i was a kid and i have clear memories of us listening to it while cooking fajitas together (something we did often). after several years of not being in contact, it’s nice to think of some nice memories together, especially given i never thought we’d speak again. baby steps!!
