genuinely my bopdrop pals, when the day comes that Mariah is no longer with us it’s going to be an awful day. i know that she is “controversial” to like as an artist/celebrity but we need to be real, she’s not really done anything bad?? that i know of at least, sure she’s a diva and at this point could be a bit out of touch with certain things but if u pay attention that’s kind of just her diva persona and generally speaking she’s actually quite chill and down to earth from what i have witnessed. and i think unfortunately that diva persona gets in the way of people actually paying attention to her talents. like we seriously need to give her more grace and respect in my opinion. i probably sound insane bc it’s so silly to go this hard for a person that doesn’t know me and never will but idk it’s like to me these artists are gateways for many and inspiration as well whether they realize it or not.
