Day 5 of #springintosummerspiritweek - song that feels like a summer romance
I was in primary school when this song came out and I remember it being in my head as I walked through the hallway to my room to go to bed before 9pm, the light still streaming through the blinds. before sleeping I would daydream about talking with my crush at the school bbq and playing games with him and my friends but definitely not letting him know I had a crush on him no no, not allowed. it would always be bright and sunny and warm and when we would interact in the ice cream van queue I would have to act like I don’t like him at allll but secretly I would get all giddy and try my best to catch his eye across the playground whenever I could. nonchalance was learned at an early age. everything has changed in that now I am about to finish uni, it’s a completely different boy, I don’t have to hide my crush at all, and it isn’t a daydream anymore :)
there was a hard ass Taylor swift song in my dreams last night that doesn’t exist.. I was under the impression that it was supposed to be on the original Twilight Soundtrack. it had Emma Stone on it too lol. wish I could hear it again 😔
