on the other hand…… i did also check out this album and i was sad to find out it did not live up to my own personal hype no shade,,,,, NOT TO SAY that i wont continue to try it over time but my initial 2 listens were shaky lowk i’ve been a fan of his for a long. long. long. time and i’ve loved watching him grow but i have fears about his trajectory and also feel like there’s something missing from this project? Party is fun but even then what coulda been a tidal wave of a club track feels like there’s a huge air nothingness within it (for the sake of comparison: Rush was FULL of life and so vibrant) i never want my fav artist to feel boxed in to one sound or image but i’m afraid it may happen to Troye because of how people received his artistry during his STGEO era.. i still want those meaningful n emotional tracks from him even if they’re uptempoooooo
