was looking at some old photos today and i feel like my life is really like a movie sometimes. a long time ago, one day i was just in one of my classes as usual and suddenly this girl who i had never seen before sat down next to me. none of my friends were in that class and then we had to do group work that day where we got along really well right away. the next few months, we talked pretty frequently and it turns out that we almost met a few times sooner. there was always something so calming about her, which came out especially through her smile. i can still remember that exact moment when she was sitting next to me for the first time because at the beginning she was writing something and i couldn’t see her face, but then when we started the group work, she turned to me with this special smile. that was all a long time ago and a lot has changed since then, but it’s still nice to think back.

one thing i’ve learned is that the profs (or teachers or anyone like that) who say that it’s super easy to get a good grade on an assignment or exam as long as the most basic requirements are met are the ones who grade MUCH more strictly than the ones who SAY that they grade really strictly and pay attention to whether you get every little detail right
