#halloweenspiritweek day 2!! a song reminds u of halloween as a kid. this is such the obvious song to go for but halloween was never a massive thing for me growing up. like sure id dress up and go trick or treating but i have like no recollection of half my life so no music has that connection for me, this is the only one i could think of from my childhood. anyways a halloween memory that will stick with me for life is when i was 11 (2 months in btw) i went trick or treating with my friends and someone opened the door gave us sweets and SPECIFICALLY said to me “aren’t you too old to be trick or treating” simply because i was tall, baring in mind all my friends were the same age, few months older and they didn’t get questioned i was literally just 11. anyways i clearly intimidated this 40 odd year old guy cos i was the same height as him 🤷♀️ such a bizarre thing to say to a child
