sadly late to finding this song. i’ll never get over songs about grief, even if someone’s story is different there is some comfort in knowing that the pain and love you felt for your person/people is normal. someone else has felt it and you’re not totally alone

lord! this song has me in absolute tears. CMAT has truly outdone herself with not only this song, but the entire album. such an emotional and heartbreaking song about grief, but she also does this in a witty way. i felt like I had been punched in the face the first time I heard this song. “I don’t miss you like I should, but I’d kill myself to find out if you think this song is good. there’s no heaven you said, so I can’t. And all I have to show for you is how I'm angered by that fact.”
