new post on substack, probably my most personal one yet <3 lately i’ve watched my ex go down a pretty disturbing rabbit hole on social media, increasingly posting and endorsing genuinely vile things. misogyny, xenophobia, and so much outspoken hatred towards seemingly anyone different from him. what makes it so surreal is that he was always incredibly open & embracing of my diverse religious upbringing as well as being very outspoken about women’s rights! it’s been really strange watching someone i knew so intimately become someone i barely recognise. almost like a second heartbreak, having to grieve someone all over again
