i truly believe the rise in toxic and abusive relationships has a correlation to people enabling this type of behaviour on tiktok. anyone posting their “rules” their bf has given them for summer that says they can’t hang out with people or wear a crop top, posting ‘funny’ videos of ur bf saying u can’t go on a girls holiday, one time a girl at uni told me she likes it when her bf tells her what to wear?? ur literally feeding into this behaviour and glorifying it because u think it’s cool when actually u look like a fucking idiot and simultaneously pathetic
