My top 15 albums of 2021 15. BROCKHAMPTON- ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE I think a lot of people sorta forgot about this album as the year went on, but I really enjoyed it and think it’s their best work since the Saturation trilogy Fav songs: BUZZCUT, CHAIN ON, BANKROLL, WINDOWS # of scrobbles: 95 Rating: 8/10 I’m excited to finally start this series! I’d love to hear your guys’ fav albums of the year as this goes on whether it be in your posts or in my comments! :) P.S. I decided not to count Whole Lotta Red as a 2021 release, but just know I’d have it top 2 if I counted it 🧛♂️

My top 15 albums of 2021 14. Mach-Hommy- Pray for Haiti I didn’t get a chance to listen to this album until like a month ago, but it’s great. The production from Conductor Williams and help from Westside Gunn make for an awesome project, and I am convinced that no one from the Griselda camp is capable of missing (WSG, Benny, Conway, Boldy, Hommy, etc.) Fav songs: The 26th Letter, No Blood no Sweat, Folie á Deux, Marie, Rami # of scrobbles: 70 Rating: 8/10 Also Mach-Hommy just released another project like a week ago so I need to check that out asap

My top 15 albums of 2021 🥉. Magdalena Bay- Mercurial World This album was one of the most pleasant surprises of the year for me. Every track is synth pop bliss, and I have not been able to stop going back to the first half of this album in particular since I listened for the first time. The second half of the album is great too, and I highly recommend checking this out before Magdalena Bay blows up even more than they already have. I heavily considered putting this at 2, but my top 2 albums have just been too heavily integrated into my rotation this year to be dethroned Fav songs: Mercurial World, Secrets (Your Fire), You Lose, Chaeri, Dawning of the Season, Hysterical Us # of scrobbles: 130 Rating: 9/10 Silver medal tomorrow 🥈!
