I’ve stopped being super invested in politics recently because it’s depressing, but this new legislation passed to legalise the death penalty for Palestinians is psychotic. Hardly surprising nonthless. Ben Gvir, a convicted terrorist and therefore couldn’t serve in the IDF - imagine being banned by the IDF, pushed this legislation and ofc is a member of Netanyahu’s cabinet. He was in the Knesset yesterday pouring shots of alcohol to celebrate the new legislation, unimaginably cruel, and was wearing a noose on his lapel. Their intentions are crystal clear and have been for a long time. Until yesterday, you’d have been branded anti-semetic if you suggested they’d do such a thing. Apartheid South Africa didn’t even have a law like this for one race but not another. You know the last state who did? Nazi Germany. Ethnic cleansing in front of our eyes. Yet everyone just stands around, releasing a measly worded statement full of platitudes. ‘We’re concerned by and we strongly urge’

Harrison made breakfast for me this morning. I didn’t ask for it. Bacon and eggs, was delicious. We eat the same thing everyday but never tire of it. Some say he’s hubby material. I couldn’t agree more. Some people are me. I must give some credit to Yas for Paolo Nutini. I was aware of him but that was about it. She sparked my interest in him.

Not Billy Joel’s number 1 fan but like a few of his songs. Gave this album ‘The Stranger’ a closer listen, would recommend. Packing tomorrow, didn’t start it today. Should be easier since I know what to take and haven’t unpacked half the things from first year. A couple of teething issues with the house, nothing major. It’s weird cos I’m the tech, functional guy in the house but I don’t get there until Friday. Yet I know sweet fa about practical stuff, my Dad’s always mocking me. Anway, really like this song, and no I didn’t get it from Tiktok. Although, there is no shame in that. A guy was singing Billy Joel on karaoke in Portugal, don’t think I’ll ever forget that. And every time I hear his stuff, I think of that guy. Not a bad thing, he was pretty good.
