day 2: a song you would like to sing in karaoke ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGS. it’s so catchy and in a pitch i can actually sing 😭😭 although the lyrics are a little sad (about a breakup, or losing someone you love) it’s too catchy to not sing

i wish more people could see what i see. i was walking with a friend a while ago, and pointed out some pretty flowers in a creek next to the highway. she couldn’t really figure out what i was talking about, but she said, “i wish i could’ve seen what you saw”. i don’t know in what way she meant that, but the way i interpreted it was that i saw the beauty in those flowers, and she couldn’t. and it makes me a little sad. all around me the people in my city talk about how much they hate it here, how ugly things are, or how much the people suck. but this city’s so beautiful, and i wish more people could see it. the way that the sun hits the leaves in the afternoon, or how nice the roofs of houses look on the mountains from afar, the reflection of the sunset on the windows of the skytrain, the bushes that surround lakes, the snow that sits on the mountains all year, everything’s pretty. the world is so beautiful when you know how to look at it.
