florist is very easily one of my favorite artists of all time. all of their lyrics are feel so calm and give such a warm feeling. if blue could be happiness as an album just feels like a genuine hug, that type of hug you get when you’re a little upset and someone you love is comforting you. what i wanted to hold holds such intense meaning for me and i will always listen to it when i just need that hug i can’t get. from the lyrics to the guitar to emily’s soft vocals this song is gorgeous 🙏
