I don’t think I’ve ever posted a Nick Drake song before. He’s so underrated ✌🏻. A friend of mine got me into his music. Last summer when it was the peak of everything going on, lockdowns and restrictions. Me and this friend exchanged and sent each other letters probably for May, June, July and August. We’re from the same country 🇮🇪 but we basically live at opposite ends. He was going to college in a place 5hrs from me and when college was over he moved back to his home which again is still 3hrs from me. I haven’t seen him since 2019 😞Honestly I would so recommend sending your friends letters if you can. I know we have technology now and it’s made communication so much easier. But there was something so special about it. The waiting and anticipation of getting a letter. To seeing and sometimes struggling to understand someone else’s handwriting. It was so personal and endearing. I really got to know him better.

Haha it’s just one of those days 😬✌🏻 Feeling pretty shit at the minute But I have to believe that things will get better Everyone on here is so lovely and it is somewhat comforting that people do feel similarly to me I think I like the fact that none of my friends have this app and therefore can’t judge me Sometimes kind words from strangers mean more That someone you don’t know, who maybe lives at the other end of the world has your back That they’re rooting for you 💕🤘🏻

Lol we are so understaffed at work People gone home sick people off on their holidays And I have a pain in my head I think I’m going to be the only one on checkouts tonight they have no one else It’ll be okay but it’s a Friday evening so it’ll be extra busy for a few hours We close at ten So I’m guessing 6-8 will be peak I love life Live laugh love
