You’ll never be children together again? And they meet someone they’ll spend their forever with and you love them and are so happy for them but you’ll never be their go-to at thanksgiving or the one they look at first when laughing at a joke, which is fine and totally okay and maybe someday that’ll be you too.. but all you can think of is how it used to be.
