i had gone and thought You were wrong for me, and even then i was on Your mind. i used to be a very religious person. hour long quiet times every day, reading the bible and praying consistently, only surrounding myself with people with similar ideals, only listening to christian music etc. but if i made one small mistake there would be judgement all around from the people i thought were supposed to love me how Jesus would. and that hurt and caused so much confusion for me, i needed so desperately to find myself outside of all that. as i’ve grown i’ve realized so much and learned a whole lot but also kinda lost that connection w God so finding songs like this one that make me feel heard, seen and loved mean so much to me.
