Heatmiser or Elliott Smith?
I like a few of Heatmiser’s songs, but I think Elliott is my favorite of the two. That said, I prefer the Heatmiser rendition of “Half Right”; the percussion adds a richer, fuller sound. The build at the beginning makes my heart drop every time. AHHHH, I can feel a pit in my stomach in the best possible way.
It reminds me of when I experienced an intense and horrifying realisation, only to feel exhausted and apathetic after the sudden rush of emotion—and then numb again.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Elliott’s version from New Moon. It’s so tender and stripped back… feel a little lonely whenever I listen to it.

I need to watch more of David Lynch’s films, I saw Mulholland Drive–it was a complete mind fuck but I loved it.
I think rom-coms are over hated because comedy takes sooo much skill to pull off. I know there’s some bad rom-coms, but I can still sit through them if the acting is good.
