Happy Favorite Thursdays. Today we are looking at What the Words Meant by Mike Shinoda. This song is a personal one for me because growing up I understood the meaning of his band Linkin Parks songs, the songs Chester wrote specifically. And this song was written about how Mike now knows what the songs Chesters wrote meant and how his death made him realize.

Today we aren't looking at a jazz track for jazz Wednesday. Today we are looking at The Best Of Times by Dream Theater. A song about remembering loved ones who passed. I post this today because a few days ago my Grandfather passed away. I will always love him.

Happy Modern Mondays. Today we are looking at Waiting on a war by Foo Fighters. I love this track, and all it stands for. I think this song as a piece of art is worth a lot, it came out at the right time too

Happy Modern Monday. This track is the final track off of the album it is on. This track is the most complex off of it's respective album. Personally I think it's the best off the album.

Welcome to favorite Thursdays. This is a very personal song to me. It's my favorite song in the whole world, nothing can beat it in my opinion. This song features such a beautiful guitar solo and hauntingly beautiful vocals that just make it so beautiful.

Happy Technical Tuesday. Today we are looking at M.I.A., this track may not be super technical, but it's guitar solo is nothing you should laugh at, being one of the most difficult solos the band has released.

Happy Technical Tuesday. Today we are looking at Octavarium by Dream Theater. This track is the title track from it's respective album, it is also the longest track on the album. At a whopping 24 minutes. This track doesn't start off very hard, but gets progressively more difficult as the song goes on.
