„Tanz mit mir den Galgentanz!“ 🖤 This track was the one I listened to the most this year. Honestly, not surprised since I discovered Lebanon Hanover only a few months ago and couldn’t stop listening to them! Unfortunately the concert I wanted to go to a few weeks ago got postponed, so now I have to wait patiently until May 2022.. Can‘t wait to see these two again tho!

I’ve been listening to a lot of Bob Dylan lately and absolutely fell in love with this song. He has such a calming whiskey-soaked voice in this and it’s just a simple track about how much he wants to be near his girl. That’s what makes it so beautiful. “Whatever colors you have in your mind, I show them to you and you'll see them shine.”

Bowie knew he was going to die and turned his own death into art with his last album “Blackstar”. This man was such a genius and just knew how to leave an impression.

I never really got into Deftones, so it was quite a surprise to me that I actually loved this song! I wanted to know more about its meaning and found this: "My Own Summer" was written in Seattle, during the hot summer of 1994. Trapped inside of his room by the heat and sun, Chino boarded up his windows with aluminum foil and wished for "an apocalyptic-type thing" where all of the people on the streets would disappear and the sun would go away. He called this dreamworld "his own summer," which is where the song title comes from.

Please Please Me has always been my favorite album by The Beatles… Probably because it reminds me of the time when I just started listening to them. You obviously won‘t find progressive pieces or thought provoking lyrics, but this is what I adore about this album - it’s just simple three chord pop songs about love. I‘m curious, what‘s your favorite Beatles album?
