Happy birthday to my mom. My mom has seen Pearl Jam 71 times.
This song always reminds me of her!! She tells me that the song was written and inspired by her (🙄).
Once upon a time in the early 90’s, she spent a few hours in a bar with Eddie Vedder & Mike McCready. Over the course of the night Eddie became sick and excused himself and he ended up delaying the concert that Pearl Jam was supposed to play one night in San Francisco. Before Eddie left, my mom made a comment to him that it looked like he “had some sort of bug biting you all night.”
Fast forward a few years, and this song gets released on No Code and Eddie Vedder himself said the song was created the night he got sick before that San Francisco show. So who knows….
I’ve been so out of the loop with the world lately that I literally just NOW found out that k dot is dropping in a few weeks. C’mon man. I’m hyped.

man. System of a Down was the first band where I learned of their entire discography, all the band members, etc etc. I was 7 yrs old
and then a couple months later, they announced that they broke up & wouldn’t be together as a band anymore
Fast forward over a decade later to now, they decide to release a couple brand new songs to raise awareness about the humanitarian catastrophe in Armenia and they ALSO announced two live shows happening THIS weekend. Do I go ?? 🤔

Just shot an 85 at one of my favorite golf courses. Good round.
I golfed with this older gay man from Atlanta, and with an uncle who was teaching his nephew how to golf. The nephew was ridiculously good. it blew my mind. He has a natural swing. You meet a lot of fun types of people golfing alone sometimes
My HS baseball program had tryouts today. We had 5 guys come out & they’re decent. Nobody really stood out.
We should be alright this year when it comes to a win/loss record. We just have to play our basic routine plays on defense and we’ll be able to compete. Season starts in February so I’ll let all you boppers know how it goes when the time comes
