My dad used to listen to the Eagles when he was my age. When I was growing up, he only ever played talk shows on the radio. I didn’t know he liked music until I asked him. Something about them makes me feel closer to him, as if I understand a piece I was missing. We don’t have much else in common, so this makes me smile.
