In 2nd grade I went to the Scholastic Book Fair. I brought my things up to the cashier and handed her my money (It was a lot of singles). She made it a point how she liked that I face my money. To this day I still take the time to face all of them but dealing with cash over the years I’ve seen how not a lot of people care to do this. Do I have any OCD brothers or sisters out there who have to have all their bills a certain direction or is it just me? 📚💵

Listened to a really good podcast the other day called “This is not a Drake Podcast”. Does involve Drake to some extent but what it’s mainly about is the rise of HipHop and how R&B and Rap eventually crossed into eachother to make one genre. Talks about how mixtapes were so important to putting artists on the map and how DJ Drama paved the way for many. So Far Gone was a moment in time where people began to realize that mixtapes could be so much more. Ontop of that, 50 Cents single “Many Men” was another moment where people realized if he could sing about literally getting shot then any rapper can sing. 4 episodes long so if you have 4 hours to burn this week I’d definitely recommend.
