im not a coldplay fan. but this song and album are truly something special. the acoustic and electric guitars combining on the intro, how it thrashes beautifully before chris martin gently comes in with vocals. and a bare bones, basic music videos. i miss when coldplay wanted to be radiohead

“cellophane” gets the most attention from this album but i think this one deserves it just as much. it’s love and heartbreak with a piano ballad opening and a beautiful cello/trumpet instrumental at the end. and the lyrics?? go off miss twigs!!!!
