Back in Leeds now. I’m really feeling like this is the one. In the modest cliché way, 2024 is gonna be my year. I don’t know how or why but I’m being completely unapologetically me.
A telltale sign of a good song is a Charli XCX reference
My favourite genre of music.. whiny boy
is the quiet deafening, or illuminating? or am I simply piloting a directionless ship?
My sister’s come up to visit me and we’re about to see Alex G, life is good
Dragging James all the way to Leeds just so he can do a karaoke duet with me>>>
UGLY is definitely aoty so far. I’ve been listening to this song so much over the weekend
Why is it so bloody difficult to find a vegan cake?
My dad told me once that the Beastie Boys used to say the N-word, referring to this album. What he failed to realise is fucking Q-Tip features on this song.
I love discovering artists through concerts
I’ve always been a bit of a hoarder. Not just in the physical sense, I’m always clinging onto states of mind and memories in time. I’ve never really paid it much attention but recently it’s an idea that’s really come to front. I’m always chasing the next new exciting thing but in doing so it means I have to leave ‘now’ behind. This never stops me, and so consequently puts in a predicament of always putting a new heightened happiness behind me. To put it in perespective, I’ve been having a lovely time at uni right now and I’m potentially the happiest I’ve ever been, yet I know everyone is going home soon, and ‘now’ will fade. It wasn’t until some recent thinking-and a TikTok of all things-that I gained a new perspective. ‘Something isn’t good because it ends, it’s good because it has an ending’.
