Really lacking much initiative to get up early this week, but felt blessed this morning on the drive to work. Since I basically drive straight west, I get to see the sun rising every morning. It’s absolutely beautiful. And then this song came on as I was marveling over God’s creation and I realized how present God is, even in the beauty of His creation around us. Also super crazy to think of the magnitude of cosmic objects. I’ve always dreamed of getting to be one of the few people that gets to travel to outer space. If you were given the opportunity to travel to space for a couple months, would you?

The craziest thing happened today at work. The main person mentoring me asked about acitivities i do/did and I was telling him about 🥁 and he asked if I played in a talent show one time in Cedar Rapids with a band. Turns out he was at one of our early shows at a high school in cr cuz his younger sister went there at the time!! Then he went on to tell me his whole journey of how he and his brother started a band in college, dropped out, and even had a serious manager and producer deal (his brother even made it to Hollywood in American idol). Now we’re just chilling reminiscing about all the great times we’ve had playing music and lowkey sad that we’re now just sitting here coding lol. Music is so sick. Also this song was a solid discover weekly find

Been a while since I’ve posted on bopdrop, but this song is too good not to post! I’ve also never been one to share many of my life updates on any social media, but I do love reading about how everyone’s doing on bopdrop! So maybe I’ll start sharing a lil’ more often on here. :)

Day 5 I have vivid memories of my lesson teacher and I geeking while playing to this recording together. The joy that playing and learning from him brought me almost convinced me to just play music for the rest of my life!
