my biggest fear is growing old, i think. time is so funny, in general, because we spend our whole childhood wishing we could just be older and feel ‘cool’ like the adults we know and then when that time actually comes, you want to keep the process of aging as far away from you as possible, so that you don’t have to be constantly reminded that life is just one big race against time and what we do in this very moment will ultimately decide whether we led a fulfilled life. each birthday, each christmas, each day itself becomes less and less special and we eventually have no choice other than to accept the turnover from young to old like lambs to be sIaughtered.
