one of my friends’ bday was on Sunday, yesterday we surprised him by taking him to the courthouse to get his name legally changed bc he’s been dying to!! we’d been scheming this for awhile. he had no clue where we were taking him & his reaction made us so happy, once he saw we were headed for the courthouse he was in disbelief. it’s gonna be a process, there’s gonna be a hearing & other steps within the next couple months, but he filed the official paperwork & soon won’t have to see his deadname anymore!! 🥹🥹
@hayleyhoey8 reassured me it’s never too late to participate in a spirit week (thank you for that btw!!) so I’m jumping in like 5 days late, don’t mind me 🤭

I wanted to get something that commemorated my lifelong, deep relationship with music. it’s also inspired by Napstablook, my favorite character from Undertale :) getting this done was super impulsive & last minute but I don’t regret it at all, I think it’s so fitting for me.
well guys I officially go back to work tomorrow. it lowkey feels like how it felt going back to school after summer vacation. it’s wild how fast 2 months flies by. I’m working a half shift tomorrow to ease into it, then a full shift Wednesday, before my VA beach trip the 13th-17th.
enjoy this pic from last night, we got drunk & dyed hair (I didn’t dye mine bc it wouldn’t have shown up but I wanted to 😔). we also made a potential new friend bc we saw her crying sitting outside of Sheetz & wanted to make sure she was ok, we ended up giving her a ride home & getting her snap. at one point while she was crying she said “I wish I had friends like you guys” which made my heart hurt like bb you could!!! we’re always accepting new people into the group 🥹

off topic, but I had my first work meeting since I’ve been back after my accident, also the first one with my new store manager & it was the last for several of my coworkers. but before our meeting, me & some of my favorite coworkers went to Applebee’s & had some drinks & apps, one of them is part of the bunch that’s leaving so we cheers’d to him 🍻 there was someone else who was supposed to come with but couldn’t make it there or to the meeting bc car problems :( but today was a good day!

I had my last pt appt on Thursday, which was bittersweet; my physical therapist hugged me & encouraged me to live my life to the fullest, & emphasized how proud he is of my progress. I cried 🥹
my sister got her license, her first vehicle & a new job all within a week so we celebrated that!! also her bday is on Monday so I gave her the gifts I got for her at the con, she loved them ☺️
had a longgg night & have an even longer work week ahead of me, but soon in a couple weeks I’ll be on midday shifts instead of getting my entire day, evening & night robbed from me 🙏🏻

getting my first ever MRI scan done tomorrow & I’m dreading it 🥲 I had my first ever CT scan at the ER after the accident to make sure I didn’t have any head injuries, it was only minutes long but not pleasant at all (tbf I was really overwhelmed from all the pain throughout my body & all the other shit I was trying to process, naturally). but this is supposed to take longer & probably be louder… idk if I can say I’m claustrophobic but I absolutely get anxious being in confined spaces…
pray for me y’all 🙏🏻 & for good results pls!! this is to see how bad the muscle damage is in my leg & arm that the other X-rays couldn’t pick up.
