Happy Monday!! I’m on a break with some music genres cause I don’t like them at the very moment, but here is a Chinese classic: 情非得已 in literal English translation is “It must have been” or as Harlem Yu puts it “Can’t help falling in love” which was popularized by the show “Meteor Garden” made in 2001. Like any hopeless romantic song, it highlights all the aspect of an attractive person, and the specific obstacle they go through. In this case, this person in the song has nothing to offer the other and feels as if it isn’t right, hence the inclusion of 想念只讓自己苦了自己爱上你是我情非得已。(Thinking of you only hurts myself, I just can’t help falling in love with you) Until later! - LoveRyan
