John Williams is my top 1 movie composer. The way he can apply his music to the picture, and still picture the scene without the actual picture, words are not enough to explain how fucking genius this is. And the fact that he composes for movies themed extremely different from one another…I don’t care if the music is sad, mysterious, joyous, intense, confusing, I ALWAYS END UP CRYING, I wouldn’t consider myself an emotional person, but more of a sensitive person, and when I hear music, WHEN I hear John Williams’s music, there’s no stopping me. It takes over me, and I allow it and let, because the way I feel, before, during and after hearing his music gets me feeling some kind of way, it’s indescribable, it’s beautiful!! can’t get through this one without crying. And sure, the movie is sad, my fav characters die, but the emotion Silvestri sprinkles it with…look, I don’t even have the words, but it’s in my opinion, one of the most beautiful movie scorings I’ve ever heard. It’s so powerful, so unique.
