recreated my most memorable play through of this album last night. over the summer i sat in my childhood bed and was the most violently depressed i had ever been, but i just got new headphones so i listened to this album in its entirety sitting on my bed and staring at the wall. not moving. i did this again last night and it was really hard for me, at that point of my life i was struggling to keep going and while i still am, it’s much different now. i’m medicated, in therapy, i have friends who love me, i live with my support system. depression is one of the 3 strongest things i have ever felt (grief and heartbreak being the other 2). i can’t even call it an emotion. that state of my deep deep depression completely altered my sense of well-being and self, to the point where i was nonfunctional. anyways great fucking album
