I finally booked a ticket to go see a friend I haven’t seen in almost 3 years! :)

I would sell my soul to listen to this song for the first time again. I wish I could see them perform this song. :/

Days have been feeling a little bit better :)
I’ll be moving away soon for good leaving most people I know and love. I haven’t told anyone except my mom, sister and someone I feel close to. I feel weird about it because it feels so surreal to leave everything I’ve known my whole life. I’m so scared but I feel like I’ve outgrown this place and the best thing I could think of is leave. Gahhh, it’ll be so fucking lonely but shit, I’ll be okay.
I have the life I wish I had when I was fourteen. I’ve met so many amazing people. Built meaningful relationships this time. I’m still learning a new language hoping I could speak or at least, understand someone speaking it at the end of the year. But, despite all the good things. How my mind was conditioned way before I had this life. It’s still chasing me. In hopes, I would be able to mourn and let go of the past versions of myself. Embrace what I have now. I’d like to be able to create a new version of myself and embrace it without longing who I was. It’s easier said than done. I still feel overwhelmed. I still feel lost. But, then again either it goes well or it’ll pass.
I created a playlist called "songs that feel like Me". I've made several playlists over the years, and I've been avoiding listening to music because I'm so overwhelmed by where my good songs end up. This song made me realize that I should go back to listening to the genres or songs I really like and not the ones that are trendy and make me feel cool when I plug my phone into someone else’s auxiliary port. Honestly, it feels liberating to listen to songs that feel like the songs I used to listen to.
The whole album is unskippable
Push me up against the wall
This feels like you’re having a bad day and you decide to ditch work or school and go on an abrupt roadtrip to see the beach because you haven’t seen the beach for ages, you kind of don’t recognize yourself anymore, and it feels like the only thing that can bring you back to yourself is this impulsive decision. You think it’s not quite a good idea and you just say "fuck it". Windows down, loud music, one hand is on the steering wheel while the other is out feeling the fresh air. Hair’s all messed up. But you feel liberated and happy that you did what you did. Sometimes, we just have to give ourselves a break.
I’ll be getting a tattoo with my friend Rawi next week (it’ll be Rawi’s first tattoo) and we’ll go around town dressing up as a bride. I hope I can gather enough footage and I’ll make a video using this song:) I love how we both agree that we would romanticize our lives. It's good to have someone you can do things with, and I've always felt Rawi has always been that person.
