How could a loving God send his son to die on a cross? Because he loves you that much. And death wasn’t the end—there was a resurrection. There can be a resurrection for everyone who seeks it. Jesus is the One Father. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/isa.9.6.NIV everyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved :)

I might love him but we’ve barely met. I prayed we could meet, if God willed. Wearing my winter boots from Bass Pro Shop to a Cru square dancing event, I walked myself on over to fill my water cup from a cooler. I took a couple steps backwards, as the next person filled their cup. I paused to drink a sip of water. But it felt like something was under my heels. I look down. Boots. Someone else’s toes. I turn around and am face to face with him, cowboy hats nearly touching.
I interpreted omens, did tarot card readings, and practiced seances. I engaged with an evil spirit that trapped me in nightmares and tried to suffocate me. Then Jesus taught me to call on His name for help. Now I am free. The victory’s belonged to Jesus for a while, and it cannot be revoked. Wanna join the winning team?
Jesus took my story and made it beautiful 🎨

“The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.” Psalms 19:8, 10 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.19.8-10.NIV
