Although we don’t like Morrissey he is a bloody lyrical genius. I love this song sm the baseline is heavenly. Praises to Andy Rourke. And marr’s guitar is just on point. This entire song is beautiful. Quite the most beautiful song about dumping a baby on a doorstep ever😭. This has always been my fave smiths song I honestly can find enough words to describe my love for it. There’s almost something haunting about this song it gives me chills every time I listen to it ( hours on end ofc).
I’ve always been a massive fan of Alice in chains and I’ve recently got into some of Jerry Cantrells stuff. Him and Lane Staley’s vocals are breathtaking and so distinctive I can’t get enough of it especially their harmonies in aic. Honestly love this song so much!!
I think The Smashing Pumpkins are my current fave band. Obscured is such a beautiful song like many of their other songs I could listen to it all day. I love Billy Corgans voice sm. I ADORE (heh get it) all their albums they’re just perfect in their own way but I think that Pisces Iscariot is the most underrated album. It’s so cool that they compiled all their b- sides and rarities into one album. The pumpkins are sooo beautiful. I don’t think I could ever get bored or listening to them. Sorry to my neighbours for blasting them on repeat😭
Deftones are just something else. Their songs just give you a feeling you can’t put into words. When I first started listening to deftones this was the first song I heard of theirs and I just fell in love. Istg it’s like I go in another dimension when I listen to deftones they just hit diff😩. The whole album gives me goosebumps. I love chinos voice sm.
this album is PERFECT. I’ve been obsessed with this song forever and I think my mum is actually sick of me playing it. Oh well :). I adore the music video to this song as well it’s so intense and it’s a masterpiece itself. It was filmed in just one shot😳. Honestly Billy Corgan would of been such a good villain in a film. And the transitions in this album are just magical. The way it goes from “perfect just like me” to perfect. I always took this song as a twisted love song. A codependent relationship. I believe it is about courtney love :/. A song can mean anything to someone it’s whatever you make it and there’s so many interpretations of this. No matter how many times I listen to this song I will never get tired of it it’s unbelievable. And oh my god I wanna be D’arcy Wretzky!!!
