Ok so this is a prince song and I love prince so so much. But this cover is everything. Chris Cornell was one of the best to ever do it. I think one of the most upsetting things about liking older music is watching my idols get older and pass away. And yeah that will happen no matter who you listen to, i just wish I could see new albums drop and it’s far and few between. Happy hump day everyone 🙂

I’m not really sure when I discovered this song but it was definitely through whatever Pandora radio my dad was playing. I do have very vivid memories of belting this song in the shower right around when I was graduating middle school. Definitely a little bit cringe to thing about, but I miss not feeling cynical about anything at all and literally living one day at a time. But I guess that’s growing up. Oh yeah this song fuckin slaps

I really struggle to pick just one song to share a day. As soon as I post I find a better song or one I think is more worthy of being shared. Anyways Wednesday and Thursday are my busier days so I’m enjoying the last slow part before I go to work. Y’all ever have like ✨issues✨ but they’re not like hard issues if that makes sense. Like you’ve been through so much worse and now something that seems so much easier turns out being so much harder. And yes I’m being vague on purpose can’t spoil everything. Yeah ig that’s my rant for today have fun digesting that
