The hypnotic sound of the layered synths is what makes this song, but after listening a few times, what really sticks with you is the complex and immaculate drumming work. A great song on a great album. Also the synths here remind me of the ones on “Never Never Gonna Give Ya Up” by Barry White

I watched Spirited Away for the first time only a few weeks ago, and it is instantly became one of my top 5 movies of all time. It’s so beautiful and heartwarming, and full of creativity. The world and characters it creates are so vivid and detailed. The animation is beautiful. The soundtrack does a perfect job of matching all of that. #movienight
