I find this song to be so beautiful. The way xiu xiu is able to capture the anxious feeling surrounding death is amazing. The lyrics are simple but meaningful, i love it (*´v｀) "Watching her twin want to die" I don't think "twin" should be taken in a literal sense. I imagine it more as a reflection, like only the reflection of yourself wants to die. "I'm going to hang myself, When will I be going home" Like being alive is some sort of long visit and ultimately death is your home. Suha is supposed to be a song written about Jamie Stewart's mother. About her struggle with suicide and self hatred. He talkes about how his mother once told him she wanted to die but couldn't kill herself. That's why I think the line about her "twin" is rly impactful. Her twin wants death so bad but she can't bring herself to do it. Guys I'm so emo sorry 🧍
