I can really relate to Céline; my thoughts are the same as hers, especially in the scene where she talks about her vacation in Warsaw and how the city made her feel at ease inside; she had no desire to be anywhere else, and what at first might have seemed like boredom eventually turned into something very, very soulful and I experienced a similar feeling when I spent eight months at Jaen last year. Also, in the moment where she reads her old journals and realizes she is still the same person! these are some of the lines “what really surprised me is the way I was dealing with life the same way I am now, I was much more hopeful and naive but the core, and the way I was feeling things is exactly the same!” see? this is why I love the movie and the way Jesse responds to her? Oh, who wouldn’t want to experience that? how I wish I have someone with whom I could share my thoughts like they do. I love the storyline, the cast, and the lessons in this film.

All the bright places — 8.5/10 This novel relieves me of the notion of him and my what-ifs in life; truly, love cannot save someone. We can't save them, but we can be with them and show them the importance of showing up and appreciating little things in life, like how Theodore showed places that seemed insignificant but gave her so much to remember. Finch took violet to all the bright places and helped her to continued living—admiring Violet for choosing to show up and fight for life. Some were lost as a result of unforeseen life accidents, sickness, etc., and some couldn't live life any longer, but at the end of this book—Just how finch told her violet, she burned brightly. half pa lang na watch ko sa movie and nakakasad na malayo yung adaptation sa book sana just like yung book nag dual narration den to show yung perspective nung dalawa hehe pero i’ll still watch it. tulog lang muna me, good night!!
