Sunday, picking up some groceries. The blaring audio propaganda arm of Wally World, Walmart Radio...drilling into the downtrodden. Then what do I hear but the solid sounds of Working Man! WMR playing Working Man? I could feel the joy rising and the walls of corporate oppression receding...then someone cut the feed off completely. Dead quiet. The silence echoed in my collapsing mood. Was it only local or across the entire feed? Just know the clouds parted for a moment, and I guess I'll always seem to be wond'rin' why there's nothin' goin' down here.
