TG’s Picks Day 1 (Part 1): Dunno what it is about his voice, feels like I shouldn’t like it but I really do. It just suits the energy of the music perfectly.
Sublime
TG’s Picks Day 3 (Part 2): Do Nothing are like Yard Act if the front man wasn’t a specky spoken-word poet type and was a fella who croons and tries to look like Alex Turner (honestly take a look if you don’t believe me) but they make good music so it’s all alright.
TG’s Picks Day 4 (Part 1): Mannequin is brilliant, punchy yet still danceable, one of the best examples of great late 70’s post punk.
The first interpol song I really got into, it’s great
2010 Tom couldn’t get enough of plan B.
Genuinely might be my favourite song at the minute
Currently in my iggy pop enjoyer phase
TG’s Picks Day 4 (Part 2): I feel like songs like Lonely Hunter on What Went Down get overshadowed by the bigger, louder, brasher hits on the album, it’s the kind of song that bridges the gap between their older and newer stuff. It’s Foals’ musical versatility on display.
