Today started Day 1 of the heatwave for us that will extend into the middle of the week, and since most of the country is scorching right now, a song with the word “sun” fit perfectly. This song goes out primarily though to our friends in the Northwest, where the high temperature for tomorrow in Seattle is 108 Degrees! Chris Lane’s “Laps Around The Sun” album is an ode to the classic Kenny Chesney albums I grew up on as a kid. This is the title track off the album, and even before you listen to the song, you get the feeling that the good vibes are alive and well throughout this track.
