recently I discovered my new favourite word and it’s in Arabic ! “عشق” — which apparently refers to a love that almost denotes to a strong passion of love. I’m drawn to it for many reasons, but also simply because I can resonate with it.

happy new year to everyone! my 2025 has been full of highs and lows, a good share of happiness, sadness, longing, and solitude I am grateful to everyone that I have met and made connections with! life gave me another surprise this month and met amazing people that I will bring with me this coming 2026. being away from your family is so difficult especially during hard times. my mom used to hum to this song whenever I was having a hard time falling asleep when I was a kid. now, I use this song to comfort myself whenever I am down. i miss her. I love you, mom. see you again soon !!!
