It’s funny, I wanted to post about Saltwater. I was going to do a whole thing about beginnings, it was all going to fit very well because Saltwater is the first released Beach House song, the first song on the first album. Only to realise I already posted about it. And not somewhere way back into the beginning of this project, no, the most recent post I did was that song! It made me feel a bit uneasy to realise that I repeat myself so often. I wake up with the same songs in my head, I overthink the same thoughts, I go to sleep again, I begin again. The plan was to write about how I keep postponing beginnings, how I struggle with having to let time pass sometimes, while I don’t even have time for that. Yes time heals, well, most wounds, but a human life is to short to wait for everything to heal. I have to start doing things now, or I’m never going to do them. … delicate with no defense honor what you love to no end perfection in the accident (post #38 out of 102 BH songs)
