#dokkikispiritweek day 3 The words that come to mind when I think about James Bond are sultry, eerie, dark, passionate, and I think all these things go along side with Trip Hop, particularly the Bristol trip hop scene of the 90s. Portishead would’ve made an AMAZING bond song 100%, Beth Gibbons has an extraordinary haunting voice that I think would match James Bond’s turbulent journey perfect, and then alongside an equally eerie production it would all fall into place. Get Massive Attack in there as well, perhaps better fitted into the latter part of the film to seal out the misery and mystery. You know what I want a full trip hop soundtrack now, get Esthero, Sneaker Pimps, DJ Shadow, Tricky, Air, etc, get them all in to make an instant classic. also had to do an honourable mention to Radiohead who were robbed when they chose Sam Smith over their song for Spectre. I think anything off A Moon Shaped Pool would’ve been perfect for a depressing, end of the line James Bond film
