Thinking about poetry, the significance of the changing of the seasons, and meeting Spinvis in my dream last night. One lyric particularly describes me in this song: ‘lieve herfst, zorg voor haar als ze dwaalt door november’ (‘dear autumn, take care of her when she wanders through November’). I only just heard it, because I hardly listen to this song. But hearing it now, made me want to share.

27th of September ‘26 - #dokkikispiritweek Not sure if I would dub this is my absolute favourite —Dutch music has sprinkled very different favourites throughout my life— but, this one is for sure a modern classic in my opinion!!! If it existed I would watch a movie about the story packed in this song. It’s very much a storytelling-heavy track with a lot of comments about both the big and small things in life, the passage of time and the effect of it on the two titular people and the ones they hold dear in their life. It’s overall very poetic, as Spinvis generally is. I was going to do an honourable mentions of other songs that almost made the cut but there would’ve been too many haha oops maybe for another day kissies
