"IN THE YEAR 2022 AWARDS" - The EPs #1. Alex Isley/Jack Dine - Marigold Had to take the day for christmas and come back to countdown the final EP and head to the Top 10 albuns list. Now you know I had to make a special shoutout to Ms. Alex Isley for coming even STRONGER than she ever has with this project. I know I'll probably get flack for putting it in the EPs section but if it was 5 minutes longer it would be in competition with the LPs but unfortunately it was too short HOWEVER that doesn't mean it doesn't do exactly what it needed to. She and Jack have notoriously been known to capture your ears and bring them into their sonic landscape and have your entire soul feel like it went through a musical cleansing. THIS ONE THEY PUT YOU IN A CRYOGENIC CHAMBER AND LET YOU CHILL OUT AND VIRTUALLY DISAPPEAR UNTIL ITS OVER. But if we're being honest, this shouldn't at all be surprising from a family member of the Isley Brothers.
