The demos from yesterday turned out okay. However I’m frustrated with this trend I’m noticing from working with a lot of different musicians. When making music, many are complacent with “it sounds good enough” instead of really ironing things out and giving 110%. I know I’m a bit of a perfectionist but if the project you’re creating is something you really believe in, then why not go all out, right? I don’t know. I do it too so ik I’m a hypocrite. But if I ever wrote, recorded, and believed in my own music, I feel like I’d stop at nothing to make it sound as good as it can. I’ve never had that type of opportunity to know if I truly would tho. Just some thoughts.
