got settled back into my apartment earlier this evening, thanks to family & a friend. it’s been kinda weird but a relief nonetheless. tomorrow will be the first Independence Day in many years that I won’t be going out 🥲 I was invited to a party but it’s supposed to be super hot, I’m not gonna want to drink in it or risk getting heat stroke, ntm there’s gonna be an insane amount of people. I just don’t want to risk overwhelming myself especially given the current condition I’m in. I’m a little bummed bc I’ve always loved celebrating the 4th, in a justice for ALL, non maga way.. but I’m also not as pressed to celebrate my country considering the state we’re in.

I hope everyone is staying warm and safe! The ice is still pretty bad where I’m at, but I got a call today about a job I interviewed for last week that I really wanted and I got it! I’m very excited because it’ll be an awesome bump in pay, and the hours will be way better, so I can have more of a life outside of work.
