When browsing the normal selection last night, I came upon the last remaining copy of the girlhouse EPs from last year of which there are only like 1200 and it was a miracle! following up my prev post, the photo attached was from ‘The Sun and Her Flowers’ by Rupi Kaur. I was never rlly a fan, it was a gift. but I did scan thru it more than once, trying to find endless meaning in js few words…poetry, I suppose. ngl, I kinda get the criticism. soft lines, lowercase, plain language, v minimalistic art, & it def leans into IG aesthetics. OR maybe, im just not the target market (hence, that book was gifted) + someone once told me I lowk look like Rupi Kaur. not offended. prolly the 2nd/3rd time someone pointed out I look Indian. got me confused tho, cuz I just don't see it
