the fact that i have to work to live and live to work is so disheartening; i don’t just mean me of course it feels bad because feeling this way is so antithetical to everything i hope for given my career path, which in itself is entirely antithetical to my core beliefs of life, the value of it and the importance of spending it connecting with others, which i guess aligns perfectly with my goals i guess balence is what’s important, rest and work because what good is rest if that’s all you have. and what good is works if you’re too burned out to enjoy and appreciate it oh well, probably hitting my quarter crisis so maybe this is normal. but still, i always think about how when old people look back on their life, their regret is never that they wished they worked harder
