rock and hard rock as genres are really in dire need of a revival. the majority of what's called rock these days doesn't even come close to actually being rock and the same goes for hard rock. there's literally only like 3 consistently good ongoing rock artists these days to my knowledge. bring back real rock

something i'm noticing more and more about modern day music is that the songs don't sound like the genres they're labelled as. the biggest examples of this are metal, heavy metal, rock, hard rock and country. modern songs that are released don't sound like those genres, they sound like sub genres combined together to make it seem like they are said genres. there's only 3 current modern artists who actually fit in the genres of what they release and violent vira is a genuine metal artist, the pretty reckless and the warning are both genuine rock artists. but if you move away from these artists, there's really not anymore good modern artists within these genres

day 3 of #mallonspiritweek a song/artist that has grown on you i've already said this before but i'll say it again, lover a ghost really grew on me on second listen, especially the songs burn me with a bible and s.e.x narcissist from that album. i really want the cd of this album but it's either 18 quid for the regular cd or 30 quid for the deluxe cd this is so homophobic

the problem i have with drinking is that i can go extended periods without alcohol but the second i have it i’m all in and think about or do drink 24/7. i cannot do it in moderation and don’t understand those that can. drinking feels like the person i am supposed to be. how do you not chase that how do you not let that consume you when the person you’re supposed to be is right there bro things to ponder in 2026 perhaps idk im drink it’s 10:27 in the morning and i feel like there’s something deeply and irrevocably wrong with me sorry love you
